The photos above are of chopsticks that my friend Kailee got for me when she went to Japan. They have been sitting in the package just on display ever since I got them, and I thought they would be perfect for the assignment of objects. Out of all the photos I took of objects, these were my favorite because they are so simple. While taking these photos, I was trying to get a really close up photo. I achieved this by zooming in all the way and focusing in on them. They also kept rolling so it was kind of difficult to keep them in place.

These photos are awards from a few years ago. Dance has always been something that I love so I thought this would be perfect to photograph. The lighting was particularly hard in these because they are transparent. I played around with different angles for these and I think they turned out cool.

Tink
These photos are of a Tinker Bell mug. My sister got me this mug at disney when she went. Tinker Bell was my favorite disney character as a child and it played a big role in my childhood. I believe that she represents strength, power, and that women can do anything. While taking this picture, I struggled with the shadows from the light. I also struggled with the glare off of the mug.

the photos above are of my white converse. These are my favorite pair of shoes and I wear them with about every outfit. With these photos, I played with the laces and the position of the shoes to see what I could come up with. I struggled with the angle of the shoes because of the grass.
These photos are of smashed pennies. I love collecting these everywhere I go. They are so simple and dainty but I love them. I struggled with how to arrange them and how some of them were dirty. I also struggled with the glare of the sun on them.
